Sophia Rose Martinson is a freelance culture writer. Her work on film, literature, the family, and society has appeared in a variety of publications, including Angelus News, Verily magazine, The New Criterion, The Washington Examiner, MercatorNet, and Theology of Home. Her blog, Homemaker Hopeful, explores the skills of taking care of home and family.

A Phi Beta Kappa inductee, Sophia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, where she majored in the Program of Liberal Studies and minored in education. She has received various recognitions for her writing, including the Edward J. Cronin Award for excellence in essay writing at Notre Dame and an award from the Catholic Media Association for excellence in review writing. Her other passions include reading classic novels, hosting parties, and chatting over chai tea lattes. She lives in beautiful Boonton, New Jersey with her husband and son.
